The films Aldult’Air, Chez Ombalo and Parents mode d’emploi-Afrique are on display at the 33rd Vues d’Afrique festival, scheduled for April 14-23 at the Quebec Cinematheque in Montreal.
More than 100 films representing 37 countries of the world are on display at the 33rd edition of the Vues d’Afrique International Film Festival,envisaged from April 14th to April 23rd in the two rooms of the Québécois cineclub in Montreal. Among the films retained in the programming, the organizers announce three coming from Gabon.
The first Gabonese film in the running, is an episode of the new series « Chez Ombalo » by young director Nadine Otsobogo (member of the jury of the festival in the section « Sustainable development »).
The second film, « Adult’Air Le témoin de mariage » is a short film (29 minutes) directed by Sosthène Ngokila, CEO of Groupe Divine Production, in addition ambassador of Gabon in Canada.. This film, winner of the Golden Iboga 2016 in Gabon, looks back on a phenomenon of society: marital infidelity. On Saturday, April 22, at the Salle Fernand-Seguin, spectators will be immersed in the difficulties encountered by a young couple because of the infidelities of the husband.
As for the third Gabonese film scheduled for this 33rd edition of the Festival Vues d’Afrique, it is the African version of the humorous series « Parents mode d’emploi », directed by Samantha Biffot, currently broadcast on pan-African channels Kanal 7 And TV5 World-Africa.
