A Gabonese delegation is taking part in the 12th edition of the International Agricultural Show which opened Tuesday in Meknes (Morocco).
The 12th edition of the International Salon of Agriculture in Morocco (SIAM) opened on Tuesday 18 April and this until 28 April in the city of Meknès. Under the theme: « Agribusiness and Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains », this agricultural event was preceded on Monday by the 9th National Agricultural Meetings held in Meknès. The theme was « Agriculture and food security over the years ». ‘water ».
Gabon, an agricultural country par excellence, is indeed present at the 12th SIAM with an important delegation led by the Minister delegated to the Minister of Agriculture, of the Breeding, responsible for the implementation of the program Graine. The delegation led by Patricia Taye is made up ofnpromoters of Gabonese agricultural small and medium–size companies.
For better selling the label Gabon, all those which will visit the stand of Gabon will be able to be regaled with flavours of the “Chocolates of Julie”, Indigénat Food, of the Small pots of Ogooué, Agrimat, of “Flavours of Metegh M’Avie”, of the agricultural cooperative agricultural Medzogha, of Horta, Ank, of Olam Gabon,Sotrader and Caistab.
During her stay in Morocco, the minister deputy will have several working sessions with various operators of the agricultural sector and will visit certain structures interested by investment opportunities which offer Gabon.
