Morocco to attend the Festivities of Cultures from 7 to 9 July in Libreville

The initial calendar of the festival of cultures was altered by the organizing committee of this cultural event, which was held at its 13th edition this year. The event, originally scheduled from 29 June to 2 July 2017, was deferred for one week for logistical reasons.

Thus, in the new program that runs from July 7 to 9, we will welcome hundreds of delegations from inside the country and from friendly countries. Among the special guests, there is the presence of a Moroccan delegation composed of various artists.

For the organizing committee, this Moroccan participation is welcomed as a sign of the opening towards the internationalization of this festival, which constitutes a moment of sharing and diffusion of the Gabonese culture in all its states.

The program envisages the installation of a mini-village of children called « Bana A Mpugu », in the hall of the national television where a workshop of learning of the plastic arts will be animated, question of causing vocations at thisyoung public.

Young people will also be entitled to a tour of the Sibang arboretum in the heart of the city, while cinematographic screenings will also take place throughout the event, which will take place at several sites.

There will also be a traditional dance and culinary arts exhibition and sale at the event, which ends on July 9th with a prize-giving ceremony chaired by the Minister of State for Culture, Alain Claude Bilie- by-Nze.
