After a successful first season, VoxAfrica announced that the second season of « the Francophone Voice Africa » will kick off on 14 October 2017. The program, which in the previous year attracted more than 10 million viewers in Cameroon alone And 9 million in Côte d’Ivoire will be broadcast every Saturday on VoxAfrica and broadcast on the partner television channels.
For five months, new talents will be revealed to viewers until the grand finale of January 27, 2018. Who will succeed Pamela Baketana, winner of the first season with a contract at Universal Music and the possibility of recording an album.
More than 16 countries will participate in this edition. These include: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, The Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Chad and Togo.
The program will take place in 16 episodes including 6 blind auditions, 4 battles, 2 ultimate events and 4 major live shows, starting January 6, 2018.
It should be noted that the second season of « the Voice Afrique francophone » is 16 weeks of competition, 4 juries of African and international music and a charismatic master of ceremonies.
